Market Watch allows you to set and manage up to 30 stocks on a single screen. You can create and manage up to 5 Market Watches. Market Watch provides data on stock price, quantity, exchange and the company.
Save: It allows you to save the Market Watch
Show/Hide columns: It allows you to customise and see what you want on the Market Watch
Add new watch: It allows you to add a new Market Watch.
Add new security: It allows you to add new stocks or F&O contracts to the Market Watch
Link Screens: You can view the chart patterns of a stock. To view the chart, choose the stock and click on link screen. You can get the stock quote on the widget
Predefined Market Watch: You can choose any of our Predefined Market Watches, which categories the stocks based on Index, Organisation or Sector.
3. Trading Menu
3.1. Equity SIP: Reap the benefits of systematic investing in stocks and ETFs
Create SIP Basket: A SIP basket enables you to create and manage your Equity SIP investments. You can choose up to 10 stocks or ETFs in a single basket
SIP Type: You have the flexibility to choose either the number of stocks/securities or the amount
Upper Cap: If you opt for quantity SIP type, you can set an upper limit on the transaction amount. For example, if you choose 2 units of Gold ETF for a monthly Equity SIP and an upper cap of Rs 6000, the Equity SIP will not get triggered that month if the order value exceeds Rs 6000.
Frequency: Daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly options are available for Equity SIP
SIP Request Book: It provides information on the SIP basket, SIP type, frequency, tenure and trigger date
SIP stock list: It contains the names of stocks in which you can do a Equity SIP
3.2. IPO:Invest in initial public offers, follow on public offers, Corporate Fixed Deposits, NCDs and bonds online.
3.3. Mutual Fund: Invest in a diversified portfolio of stocks and securities
NAV Watch: Add mutual funds to this watch list before purchasing the mutual fund units online
Order Book: It consolidates all your purchase and redemption orders on a single screen
Cash Limit: This is the amount available in your account to invest in mutual funds
Scheme Limit
Demat Balance: It displays the number of units available to sell or the amount available for buying new mutual fund units.

What can you do on the NAV Watch page?
Addnew schemes to the NAV watch.
Delete the schemes from the NAV watch.
Save the NAV watch
Purchase mutual fund units. You could purchase fresh / additional units by placing an order in the order entry window. The parameters for purchasing the units is defined by the exchange.
Redeem: You can place the redemption order as per the parameters defined by the exchange. Redemption order up to three decimal places are allowed.
Scheme Details: It allows you to view the attributes of the selected scheme as specified by the exchanges.
NOTE: ‘Fresh’ transaction type implies you have placed the purchase order for the first time for a particular mutual fund. ‘Additional’ transaction type allows you to add units to the existing mutual funds kept in yourdemat account.
Validation of Fresh and additional purchase is at the discretion of BSE and NSE. Hence the acceptance & rejection of the transaction rests with the stock exchanges.
Order Book:
You can view the status of purchase and redemption orders in the Order Book. Through the order book, you can also modify and cancel the orders.
MODIFY ORDER: You can modify an order once only at the 'Ordered' or 'Modified' stage. Only certain schemes allow investors to modify the order.
How to modify an order?
Select the order and click on Modify
You can only modify theamount
If you do not have sufficient limits, you will be prompted to increase your limits. System will display a pop-up to place an online hold for the necessary amount.
Select a Bank account and click on Submit button. You will be able to modify the order.
On successful confirmation from Exchange order status changes to Modified.
CANCEL ORDER:
You can cancel an order only at the 'Ordered' or 'Modified' stage.
How to cancel an order?
Select the order you want to cancel
Click on Cancel
On successful confirmation from the Exchange order status changes to Cancelled.
The held amount will be released and it will be available under the limit option.
Cash Limit:
You can view the fund limits, utilised amount and available limits to purchase mutual fund units.
Scheme Limit:
You will get information on the holds placed for purchasing mutual fund scheme/s from yourDemat balance. It also provides information on redemption orders placed in a particular scheme and the available quantity after utilisation.
Demat Balance:
You can view and place the scheme hold through Demat Balance screen.
3.4. Portfolio: Get a consolidated value of your portfolio and you can assess the best and worst performing stocks and securities in your portfolio
Value at average cost price: This is the average cost at which you bought the stocks and securities. Please note that the average cost price does not include the brokerage and impact of corporate action on a particular stock.
Value at current market price: This is the market value of your portfolio
Unrealised Profit/Loss: This will be the profit or loss you would make if you sell the stocks or securities in your portfolio.
Realised Profit/Loss: This is the profit or loss booked by you by selling stock or securities in your portfolio.
Heat Map: It is a graphical presentation of the performance of individual stocks and securities in your portfolio
Do you have multiple stocks, bonds, FDs, gold in your portfolio? Visualising large amount of data, and scrolling different sets of numbers can be cumbersome. Here is where a heat map comes handy, which depicts the performance of individual stocks and securities in your portfolio through different colours. The default colour gradient sets the lighter green to show profits and dark red to depict losses. Lighter the colour, better is the health of your portfolio.
How to create a new Portfolio?
Click on "Add Portfolio"
Enter a name for your portfolio.
You can make it your default portfolio by selecting the default portfolio option
Click on "Add" button
A confirmation message is displayed that your new portfolio has been created and added to the existing list of portfolios
Please note: You have to manually enter the shares allotted through Initial Public Offer (IPO) to your portfolio
How to edit your Portfolio?
Click on "Edit Portfolio"
Make the required changes.
Click on "Save"
A confirmation message is displayed that the changes have been saved
You can make it your default portfolio by selecting the default portfolio option
How to delete a Portfolio?
Select a portfolio from the available list.
Click on "Delete Portfolio"
Click "Ok" to confirm
How to add trades to your Portfolio?
Go to the Trade Book
Select the trades you want to add to your portfolio.
Click on "Add to Portfolio"
The selected trade is be added to your default portfolio.
How to view your Portfolio?
Select a portfolio from the list of portfolios.
Click on "View Portfolio"
How to edit a stock from your Portfolio?
Select the desired portfolio on the screen and Click on "View Portfolio"
Select the stock and click on "Edit"
Change either the quantity of the stock, its average cost price or both and click on "Save Changes"
How to delete a position from your Portfolio?
Select the portfolio and click on "View Portfolio"
Select the stock and click on "Delete"
A confirmation message will be displayed with "Ok" & "Cancel" option.
Click "OK" to delete
How to add other stocks?
The Add Other Stock screen allows you to add stocks bought or sold through other brokers. This feature is useful if you want to maintain a consolidated view of your equity or derivative contracts at a single place.
Order Book: Itgives you a consolidated view of all the buy and sell orders placed from your account. It gives you an exchange and segment wise break-up. You can even modify/ cancel details from the list of pending orders.
The Order Book contains the following details
Trading Account No: It will be auto populated to view a particular order.
Product: Choose from products such as Cash, Margin, E-Margin, Cover, Collateral Sell or All.
Exchange: Select the exchange : NSE, BSE or All
Instrument: Select between Equity, Derivatives and curreny derivatives.
Symbol: Enter the security code or symbol
Mode: Both Online & Offline modes are available
Order Status: This gives the status of all the orders placed by you.
The orders can be sub divided under following sub categories:
1. Pending Orders: Orders, which have received confirmation from BSE & NSE
2. Rejected Orders: Orders, which have been rejected by the Stock Exchange.
3. Orders Modified: It will show both confirmed orders and the pending orders.
4. Orders in Transit: Orders, which have been executed and an internal confirmation is received. Exchange confirmation is awaited.
5. Orders Cancelled: Orders, which have been cancelled by you. It will show both the confirmed orders and the pending orders.
6. Orders Frozen: Orders, which have been frozen by the Exchange & may be confirmed or returned.
7. Executed Orders: Orders which have fully got traded at exchange.
8. Partially Executed Orders: Orders which have been traded partially
View: Once the Symbol gets displayed in the text box above, Click View to view all the details pertaining to the order placed.
Alternately, clicking on Submit displays the Order Book, for all orders placed; otherwise "No data Found" message will get displayed. Based on your selection, the appropriate list of orders placed during the day is displayed. Once you have viewed your order book, you can also cancel or modify a pending order.
Close: Click on "Close" to exit the Order Book
Export Report: This allows you to save order book in your machine.
Print Report: You can print a copy of your order
Buy & Sell Order colour: We have used red &blue to display the buy & sell orders in the order book. It make easier for you to identify the buy & sell orders in order book.
How to cancel an order?
Only "Pending" orders are eligible for cancellation.
Select the order(s) you want to cancel.
Click on Cancel Orders
A warning message is displayed stating that the selected order(s) will be cancelled.
Click on Confirm to proceed
How to cancel a bulk order?
The order book also allows you to perform bulk cancellations Follow the below mentioned steps for bulk cancellation:
1. Click on Cancel All button.
2. A confirmation screen will be displayed.
3. Click on Ok to send the cancellation request of all selected orders one by one to the exchange.
4. The confirmation message will be displayed on the screen.
How to modify an order?
Only pending orders are eligible for modification. For modifying an order, follow the below mentioned steps:
1. Select the order you would like to modify.
2. Click "Modify Order" button. This displays the order in the order entry form.
3. Update the order details as required. You can modify the Order Type, Order Quantity, Price and Validity Condition.
4. Click "Place Order" button.
5. An order preview screen appears showing the information you just entered.
6. Click on "Confirm"
7. Upon successfully modifying the order, a confirmation screen is displayed along with the same Broker Reference Number assigned to your original order and the order book updates itself to display the modified order.
8. The exchange sends back a modification confirmation message after order gets modified.
9. Click "Refresh" to update the order status in the Order Book.
10. Click "Close" to exit from the Order Book.

10.1 Bank hold/release report
This report displays your bank transaction details.
10.2 Derivative Intraday report
This report shows exchange wise list of derivative contracts along with intraday margin percentage required for trading.
10.3 Derivative margin report
This report shows exchange wise list of derivative contracts along with the Lot Size, Base LTP, Base Value, Prime Margin, Exposure Margin, Total Margin and Margin percentage required for trading.
10.4 Stock eligibility report
This report shows security privileges on different products set by the risk team along with margin percentages applicable for Intraday, E-Margin and Cover Order.
10.5 Cash projection
Cash projection shows net value either payable to IDBI securities or to be received from IDBI securities on trading in Equity and Derivative Segment.
10.6 Share projection
This report shows the stocks bought and sold in the cash segment. Click on sell to place a sell order for a particular stock or security.
You can view the trade orders placed before the current trading day. To view the list of trades made in the past (i.e. made before the current trading day), Click "Trade History" button (My Trading Account-> History-> Trade History).
3.7. Limits:
Fund Limit: Funds available in your account to invest in stocks and securities
Stock Limit: These stocks can be used as collateral against which you can buy or sell more stocks.
Demat Balance: It displays stocks available to sell or the amount available for buying fresh stocks.
Collateral Release/Withdrawal: This limit can be used as collateral to take margin position
Security Hold/Release: Stocks held in your account after placing a sell order.

This screen displays various announcements by the NSE and BSE during the day. These announcements are categorised into NSE-traded equities, BSE-traded equities and NSE-traded derivatives.

Select an exchange (NSE or BSE)
Click "View Messages" button.

Order Messages: You can view a list of the acknowledgements from the exchange for the orders you have placed during the course of the trading day.
Trade Messages:You can view a list of the acknowledgements from the exchange on the tradesplaced by you on atrading day.
Token ID generation
Generate your token ID online instantly. Token ID is a unique four digit numeric code, which allows you to access CallNTrade facility.
Change Password
Generate Password Online (For Change password under My Profile tab)
Password must include both alphabets and numbers.
Password should not contain any special character(s).
Password should have at least 6 characters and a maximum of 12 characters

This report shows the stocks bought and sold in the cash segment. Click on sell to place a sell order for a particular stock or security.
Option Calculator
Calculate option price of index & stock options or implied volatility for the known current market value of an option.
Cost of Carry Calculator
You can use this tool to calculate the storage cost and the interest paid to finance the underlying asset in futures contracts. This calculator can also be used to spot possible arbitrage possibilities, in case the current price of a futures contract deviates significantly from its theoretical price.

3.11. Quotes
"Get Quote" on order entry form displays the Market depth of entered Symbol or contract. It shows best 5 best buyers &5 best sellers available in the market for the specified stock. It also gives information on Last Traded Price, Average Trade Price, Low and High Price, Open Price, Previous Close, Change,% Change, Average Price, Total Traded Qty, Volume or Turnover, Total Buy and Total Sell Quantity, Total Traded Quantity, Last Trade Time,52 week High-Low.
Trade Book provides details of all traded orders, partly traded orders categorised across exchanges, segments and instruments during the current trading day.
Trading Account Number: This field is auto populated
Select Product: Choose from Cash, Margin, Intraday, Cover, E-Margin, or Collateral Sell on the order entry panel.
Select Side: Select Buy or Sell
Select Exchange: Select the exchange as NSE or BSE.
Select Book: Select either NL: Normal Lot Book or SL Stop Loss book.
Select Instrument: Select an Instrument: EQUITY, FUTIDX (Index Futures), FUTSTK (Stock Futures),OPTSTK (Stock Options), OPTIDX (Index Options), FUTCR (Currency Futures)*, OPTCR (Currency Options)* or all. Please note Currency Derivatives trade timings are Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 5 PM.
Symbol: Enter the security symbol (numeric code or Alphabets). If you do not remember the Symbol of the instrument, enter at least three character of the company name or symbol and click on the magnifying glass. The options will be displayed in a separate window.
Note :
If you select the EQUITY segment, Cash, Margin, Intraday, Collateral Sell, Cover, E-Margin products will be available. Collateral Sell will be available only on Sell Order Entry Form.
If you select the Derivative segment, Margin and Intraday products will be available.
If you select the Derivative segment and FUTSTK and FUTIDX instrument, then both Margin and intraday products will be available.
If you select the Derivative segment and OPTSTK and OPTIDX instrument, then intraday product will be available.
7. View: Once the instrument gets displayed in the text box above, Click on "View" to see all the details pertaining to that particular instrument.
8. Close: Click on close to exit Trade Book screen.
9. Refresh: Click "Refresh" to update the Trade Book.
5.4.4 How to add trades to your Portfolio from Trade Book?
Go to the Trade Book
Select the trades you want to add to your portfolio.
Click on "Add to Portfolio"
The selected trade is be added to your default portfolio.
How to Convert to Delivery?
Select eMargin, Margin or Intraday in Equity Segment.
Click on "Convert to Delivery" button.
If you have the fund limits or security limits,you can convert your margin trades to delivery trades before the trading closes.
A confirmation message is displayed indicating that your trade has been converted to Delivery.
How to save a copy of the displayed trades?
Click on the "Export" link provided above the Trade Book.
You can open the file directly or save the file to your computer.
The downloaded file can be viewed using Microsoft Excel, Open Office Calc etc.
How to print a copy of the trades displayed:
Click "Export" link provided above the Trade Book.
Either opens the file directly or save the file to your computer.

How to view Past trades:
To view the list of trades before the current trading day), Click "Trade History" button (My Trading Account-> Statements-> Trade History).
Demat Balance: It display sstocks available to sell or the amount available for buying fresh stocks.
How to view the Demat Balance?
Select the Depository
Select DP ID & DP account no from the dropdown list
Click on View in the Demat Security Balances screen.
Click on View to display the list of all securities available in your DP account with the following info:Company Name, ISIN number of the scrip, Free Quantity: Free balance (The total number of scrips available in the demat account.)
Hold Quantity: Intraday and pending scrips which are blocked and yet to be transferred.
Available Quantity: Quantity available for hold in Demat Balance.
LTP: The Last Traded Price of the Stock is displayed for the security.
Valuation: The Amount of the Security kept on Hold will be displayed here
Hold Type: A drop down for CASH & Collateral will be displayed.
Place Hold: To specify the quantity of scripsyou want to block from your available balances.
How to create a hold in the Demat balance?
Select a scrip you want to hold
Select a hold type.
Enter the quantity
Click on Hold
The quantity gets blocked and a transaction success reference number will be generated. If the scrip is traded, it will be debited from your Demat account and moved to the exchange settlement account. If it is not traded, the quantity will get released after the day end process
The open position square off book lists out your open margin positions. Open margin positions are created on the execution of eMargin or Intraday orders. The unrealised profit or loss for each open position is also displayed.
To use Open Position square-off book:
1. Select an exchange: NSE, BSE or both
2. Select a segment: Equity, Derivative or Currency.Please note Currency Derivatives trade timings are Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 5 PM.
3. Select an Instrument: EQUITY,FUTIDX (Index Futures),FUTSTK (Stock Futures),OPTSTK (Stock Options), OPTIDX (Index Options), FUTCR (Currency Futures)*, OPTCR (Currency Options)*or all.
4. Select the product type: Intraday, eMarginor ALL
For open positions in E-Margin, choose E-Margin from the product dropdown. When ALL is selected in the product dropdown, Open Positions for E-Margin and Intraday products will be displayed.
To view a consolidated list of all the open positions for selected instrumentsclick on ALL. If you only want to view the open positions for a specific stock, enter the stock's symbol.If you don't know the stock symbol, enter the first 3 characters of the company's name and click on the magnifying glass icon. The stocks will be displayed in the new window. Similarly, for futures or options contract enter the first 3 characters of the stock or index's name and double-click within the Symbol field. Select the appropriate symbol from the list.
5. Based on your selection, the list of open margin positions will be displayed.
6. Click on square off to close the selected position. Please note Currency Derivatives trade timings are Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 5 PM.
7. Click on "Convert to Delivery" to Convert eMargin positions to delivery up to T+5 days
It displays net off the trade positions, which is (total buy position - total sell position). Net Positions will be displayed forEquity-Day, Derivative-Day & Cumulative
1. Click on "Net Position" icon or F10 to view the Net Position screen. Select the instrument type from market watch to view all the trades in that type of instrument.
2. Click "Buy" or "Sell" button to place the order
3. Click 'Square Off' button will trigger a buy and sell order.Please note Currency Derivatives trade timings are Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 5 PM.
4. Click on Close to exit
4.3.12 View Limits
View Limit screen shows your current Trading Limits in various products such as Cash, Margin & Collateral, Limit Details and Net Liquidation Value.
4.3.18 Download Master Data
It updates the security & contract master data for market watch.
4.3.19 Security Count
It gives the number of securities & contracts added in the market watch. The count gets updated automatically as you add or delete the securities.
3.16. Calculation Methodology:
1. Total Asset Value (TAV)
TAV = Available Cash Limit + Total Margin Limit + Current value of your stock limit.
In which, Available limit = Limit available for putting fresh orders
Current value of your stock limit = Sum of the values of each stock present in your stock limit.
2. Net Liquidation Value (NLV)
NLV = Total Asset Value +/- Notional Profit (loss) on your Equity Margin positions +/- Notional Profit (loss) on your Option positions +/- Notional Profit (loss) on your Future positions
In which, Future Notional Profit (loss) = Net quantity * (Last Traded Price - Average Transaction Price)
Option Notional Profit (loss) = Net quantity * (Current Option Premium - Average Transaction Price)
Equity Margin Positions Profit (loss) = Net quantity * (Last Traded Price - Average Transaction Price)
3. Net Liquidation Value (NLV) %
Net Liquidation Value (NLV) % = (NLV / TAV) * 100
If your NLV % is above 100%, then it implies that your portfolio has a notional profit and if it is less than 100% then it implies your portfolio is showing a notional loss.
4. Threshold Net Liquidation Value %
It is the minimum acceptable value of the Net Liquidation Value% in your account. If the NLV % falls below this value then your account may get deactivated for taking fresh positions. , However, you will be allowed to square off your existing open positions.
If the NLV% falls below this value the IDBI securities Limited has the right, not the obligation to square off all or some of the open positions so that the NLV % is restored to 100% or above
Fund Hold/Release screen will display yourbank account details. You can place a Hold on your funds or release the amount back to yourbank account. After entering the amount in 'Amount' Column and clicking on Hold, transaction successful message will be displayed. In this screen, the Net Hold placed by you will be displayed along with the Maximum Releasable amount. The Maximum Releasable amount will not be more than Net Hold. After entering the amount and clicking on "Release", a message will be displayed showing the Transaction successful.
After selecting the Stock Limits, these limits will be displayed for all the securities held in the Demat Account, positions taken in intraday, in cash product on NSE and BSEand Intersettlement Quantity. The screen displays the scrip, total quantity, total quantity utilised, dematquantity available for release, total collateral quantity, collateralamount, demataccount, settlement Type, dematbalance, dematquantity held.
Following fields will be seen in Stock Limit Screen:
Symbol: The Company Symbol is displayed.
Total Quantity: The total quantity available in the demataccount for a particular security along with position taken in intraday in cash product on NSE, BSE andIntersettlement Quantity. Demat Held Quantity will be displayed. When clicked on quantity, another screen opens showing the constituents such as NSE Intraday Quantity, BSE Intraday Quantity, Intersettlement Quantity and quantity held in demat account.
Total Quantity Utilised: It displays the total quantity utilised
Demat Quantity Available for Release: It displays the available quantity, which can be released.
Total Collateral Quantity: It displays the number of securities, which can be used as a collateral to buy more stocks and securities
Collateral Amount: It is the collateral limit available in your account based on collateral valuation of securites held as collateral.
Get Demat Balance: It showsthequantity available for placing a hold in your Demat Account.
Demat Held Quantity: It displays quantity held in your Demat Account.
Click on Release to open the Security Release Screen.
Trading Account No: It's an Auto populated field.
Select the DP id and DP account number of the demat account from which you want the hold to be released.
Enter the stock symbol.If you do not remember the Symbol of the instrument, enter at least three character of the company name or symbol and click on the magnifying glass. The options will be displayed in a separate window.
If there is a hold on that particular security, that quantity will be auto populated. You can revise the quantity.
Click on the "Release" button.
If there is no hold on the entered security "No data found" message will be displayed.
A new form will appear, with the following information, DP ID, DP Account no, Settlement type Symbol, ISIN No, Quantity Blocked, Releasable Quantity, Quantity to be released.
Enter the quantity to be released.
Click the "Submit" button.
Once hold on securities is released, a transaction reference number is generated.
Note: You are requested to check your trading limit, prior to transfer of securities and after the transfer of securities.Clicking on close to help you to exit from the designated window.
This is used to release or withdraw the securities, which are kept as a collateral. Once you select thecollateral release & withdrawal, a screen will be displayed from where you can release quantity, which is held in theDemat Account andwithdraw the quantity which has been kept as collateral.
Client ID: The client's Account number will be displayed in this field.
Symbol: Enter the security symbol (numeric code or Alphabets). If you do not remember the Symbol of the instrument, enter at least three character of the company name or symbol and click on the magnifying glass. The options will be displayed in a separate window.
Company Name: The Company Name will be auto populated after selecting the Symbol.
Submit: On clicking 'Submit', the security's Collateral details will be displayed.
Collateral Details: The details of the securities, which are kept as a collateral is displayed here.
Total Collateral Quantity: It is the total collateral quantity kept on hold at both the back office and the Front office System.(Collateral Quantity = BOS Collateral + FOS Collateral)
Today's Collateral Hold Quantity: It shows the quantity held as a collateralagainst a particular security today.
Previously Held Collateral: It shows the quantity held as a collateral against a particular security for a past period
Collateral Valuation%: It shows the Collateral Valuation% defined for a particular security by the Risk Management System (RMS) after considering the Haircut.
Collateral Valuation: It is the amount obtained by the broker for the securities kept as a collateral. (This value is calculated by taking the LTP of the security * Collateral Valuation% as defined by the Risk Management Systerm.)
Collateral Quantity Available for Release: It is the net Collateral quantity available to use after utilizing the collateral securities kept on Hold.
Collateral Quantity Sold: It shows the Collateral Quantity Utilized or Sold on the particular security.
Collateral Quantity Available to Sell: It shows the net Collateral quantity available for release. (Collateral Quantity available for sell = Total Collateral Quantity - Collateral Quantity Sold).
Collateral Quantity Available for Release for the day: It is the minimum of Collateral Hold Quantity and Collateral Quantity Available for release today.
Collateral Quantity Available for Withdrawal: It is the minimum of Collateral quantity available for release and previously held as collateral
User will have option to Release the Collateral Quantity or Withdraw the Collateral Quantity.
Collateral Release: On selecting the security and clicking on Collateral Release, the available releasable quantity will be displayed for the security.
Collateral Withdrawal: On selecting the Security and clicking Collateral Withdrawal, the Quantity available for withdrawal will be displayed. Enter the Quantity to be withdrawn and click on 'Submit' to withdraw the collateral.
On submitting, you will be shown a Transaction Successful message.

Day Price Range (DPR): This is the range (high and low) in which a stock can fluctuate during the market hours for a particular day

Margin Privilege: Whether the stock is eligible for margin trading
Margin %: The margin percentage required for margin trading on the security.
Intraday Privilege: Whether the stock is eligible for Intraday trading

Status: Shows whether the security is active or deactive.
1. Settlement price (F&O stocks only) - It can be defined as the closing price of the futures contracts on a trading day. The closing price is the last half hour weighted average price of the contract.
Closing price of the relevant underlying index / security in the Capital Market segment of NSE, on the last trading day of the futures contracts. The closing price of the underlying index / security is its last half an hour weighted average value / price in the Capital Market segment of NSE.
Stock Options Interim Exercise Settlement: Closing price of underlying security on the day you exercise the options contract. The closing price of the underlying security is its last half an hour weighted average price in the Capital Market Segment of NSE.
Index Options, Stock Options, Final Exercise Settlement
Closing price of such underlying security (or index) on the last trading day of the options contract. The closing price of the underlying security (or index) is itslast half an hour weighted average price in the Capital Market Segment of NSE.
2. Minimum lot size: The minimum lot size is the smallest tradable quantity of the equity scrip or derivative contract. Orders larger than the minimum lot size must be in multiples of the minimum lot size. For equities, the minimum lot size is 1 and for derivatives, the lot size for each underlying is specified by the exchange.
For example, the minimum lot size for an Infosys options contract is 100 whereas the minimum lot size for a Reliance Capital options contract is 1100.
3. Tick Size: The tick size for an equity scrip or derivative contract is the minimum possible fluctuation in the stock's price.
3.22 Corporate Action Details
A corporate action has a direct impact on the holdings of its shareholders. The most common example of a corporate action is dividend: a pay-out made to the shareholdersfrom the company’s profits. Other examples of corporate actions include rights issues, bonus issues, mergers and amalgamations, stock splits, etc. You can use the Corporate Action screen to find out the most recent corporate actions for the stock of your choice.
The following information is shown for every company stock, which has witnessed a corporate action is:
Record date - You must officially own shares a on this date to be entitled for benefits.
Expiry Date - The first day of the no-delivery period is the expiry-date. After the expiry date, you will not be eligible for benefits such as rights, bonus, and dividends announced by the company.
No Delivery Start & End Date - The no-delivery period refers to a book closure or record date as announced by the company. The exchange sets a no-delivery period for a security and during this time, trading is permitted in that security but the settlement for these trades is done only after the no-delivery period is over. The objective here is to ensure that the investor's entitlement for corporate benefits is clearly determined.
Book Closure Start & End Date - Book closure is a period announced by a company for taking stock of its shareholders prior to AGMs, dividend pay-outs, bonus', splits and various other benefits.
Remarks - The corporate action (dividend, bonus issue, right issue etc) listed against the stock.
Cover Order Privilege: Whether the stock is eligible for trading under cover order
eMargin Allowed: Whether the stock is eligible for trading undereMargin
Cover Order Margin %: This Shows the % of Margin Blocked for cover order.
E-Margin %: This shows the % of Margin Blocked for eMargin Orders.

How to use the stock details screen?
Click on the Stock Details screen.
Trading Account ID will be auto populated.
Select an exchange (NSE or BSE).
Select an Instrument. If you have selected NSE as the exchange, you can choose from EQUITY, FUTIDX (Index Futures), FUTSTK (Stock Futures),OPTSTK (Stock Options), OPTIDX (Index Options), FUTCR (Currency Futures)*, OPTCR (Currency Options)* or all. If you have selected BSE as the exchange, you can choose equity. Please note Currency Derivatives trade timings are Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 5 PM..
Enter the symbol of the stock.If you don't know the stock symbol, enter the first 3 characters of the company's name and click on the magnifying glass icon. The stocks will be displayed in the new window. Similarly, for futures or options contract enter the first 3 characters of the stock or index's name and double-click within the Symbol field. Select the appropriate symbol from the list.
Click on “Refresh”. The details for your selected stock are displayed on the screen.
Click on “Close” to exit.
3.23. Cash Limit
You can see total limit, utilized limit and available limit under this section.
On clicking Total limit value, you will get the following details
Bank Hold: The funds transferred from your bank account for trading in equities or derivatives
Intraday Sales Proceed: Cash sales proceeds from profit/ loss booked in equity, margin or derivatives trading during the day
Ledger Balance Proceed: Cash sales proceeds from profit/ loss booked in equity, margin or derivatives trading in the previous 2 days
Adhoc Limits: Limits given IDBI securities for trading in margin products
Collateral Limit: Margin limit created from holding a particular security as collateral. Collateral limit will be given considering the collateral valuation percentage for that security
NLV:
Net Liquidation Value (NLV): It showsthe current networth of your portfolio if it was liquidated. It also indicates the notional (unrealised) profit/loss position of your portfolio.

It shows the 5 best buyers &best sellers available in the market for the specified stock. It also gives information on buy orders, buy quantity, buy price, sell price, sell quantity and sell orders.
To view a specific company stock quote
Key in the stock symbol.
If you don't know the stock symbol, enter the first 3 characters of the company's name and click on the magnifying glass icon. The stocks will be displayed in the new window. Similarly, for futures or options contract enter the first 3 characters of the stock or index's name and double-click within the Symbol field. Select the appropriate symbol from the list.

Steps to place an order:
Buy & Sell order entry screen ismentioned at the bottom of the screen.
Trading Account Number: This field is auto populated
Select Product: Choose from Cash, Margin, Intraday, Cover, E-Margin or Collateral Sell on the order entry panel.
Select Side: Select Buy or Sell
Select Exchange: Select the exchange as NSE or BSE.
Select Book: Select either NL: Normal Lot Book or SL Stop Loss book.
Select Instrument: Select an Instrument: EQUITY, FUTIDX (Index Futures), FUTSTK (Stock Futures),OPTSTK (Stock Options), OPTIDX (Index Options), FUTCR (Currency Futures)*, OPTCR (Currency Options)* or all. Please note Currency Derivatives trade timings are Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 5 PM.

Expiry Date, Strike Price & Option type: When you select derivative instrument in the instrument field, Expiry Date, Strike Price & Option type are auto populated. Enter the proper values in the Expiry Date, Strike Price & Option type fields.
Order Type: Choose either Limit Order or Market Order. You can place a Limit order if you want to buy or sell a stock at a specified price or price higher/lower than the available current price. You can place a market order ifyou want to buy or sell a stock the current market price.
Quantity: Enter the quantity you want to buy/sell
Price: Enter the price at which you want to place a buy or sell order. You can enter the price only for limit orders.
Disclosed Quantity (DQ): Enter the quantity of shares that you would like to disclose. The minimum DQ is 10% of your order quantity.
Note: You can enter disclosed quantity for stop loss orders. Disclosed Quantity is not applicable for Derivatives.
Trigger Price: You can mention the trigger price only for Stop Loss orders. Forbuy orders, trigger price will be lesser than the Limit Price. Forsell orders, trigger price will be greater than the limit price.
Market protection percentage: This is the % added to the market price (LTP) for limit orders. It is applicable only for market orders placed on BSE.
Validity: This is the period for which the order will be valid at the exchange. The validity conditions available are as follows:
Day: The order remains valid for the current trading day only.
IOC (Immediate or Cancelled): The order gets executed if there is an equal and opposite matching order in the exchange. Otherwise it gets cancelled from the exchange.
Place Order: Click Place Order will display the buy/sell orders placed by you
Clear Order Details: Click on Clear Order Details to clear the entered values from order entry form.
Order Preview: This allows you to preview the order details before sending it to the exchange. Click on Confirm ro send the order to BSE/NSE.
Update Order: It allows you to modify the order.
Confirm: This will validate the order and internal order reference no will be displayed.
OK: If you click on OK, anorder entry form will be displayed to place a fresh Order.
Close: It allows you to exit the order entry form.
Get Quotes: It gives you the market depth for a particular security or contract.
Know Your Margin: Find out the margin amount you requirebefore placing a margin order. You can see the required margin for products such as Margin Equity, Stock futures, Index futures, Stock options and Index options
